What: WWKIP Day Planning Meeting

Where: Bridgeview Diner, 9011 3rd Avenue (bet. 90/91st) (a few blocks from the 86st R)
Come help us plan for our 4th Annual World Wide Knit In Public Day Event! Every year we get hundreds of people on the steps of the Library where we share in the joys of needlecrafting together in public! And it takes a lot of work to pull it off.
Please join us at our planning meeting. We need people to help organize and get things in order for our big event. It is the dozens of volunteers we get that make the event such a success.

What: Long Island Fleece and Fiber Fair
When: 10:00 - 5:00
Where: Hallockville Museum Farm, 6038 Sound Ave, Riverhead, NY
Many of you at Vogue Knitting Live in January marveled at the booth for LI Livestock Co. And many of you heard that Long Island has its own annual fiber festival. Now in its third year, the Long Island Fleece and Fiber Fair is a great family event for all. There will be demonstrations, fiber animals, vendors and workshops. There is a small fee for entrance (last year was $5), but it is worth every penny!

When: 11:00 - 2:00 -- Rain or Shine!
Where: Grand Army Plaza Library
Join us for our 4th Annual WWKIP Day Event! The best and biggest in NYC!!!

Friday, July 20
What: 3rd Annual Stitch N Pitch with the Brooklyn Cyclones
When: Gates open at 5:30; Game begins at 7:00
Where: MCU Park, 1904 Surf Avenue, Brooklyn
Join us for our 3rd Annual Stitch N Pitch game! We are looking forward to another game this year between our hometown Brooklyn Cyclones and local rivals the Staten Island Yankees.
Game notes:
*Please note: Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the park. Please see the Cyclones website for more details on park rules and regulations.
